手漉き和紙に四種の墨を使いマスキングでレイヤーを重ねてゆく作品は、和紙と墨が持つ有機質性と正確にマスキングされた線の無機質性が無意識と意識を画面上に同居させ、更に四種の墨のそれぞれの特徴と濃淡が効果を上げる。
そして画面の中に世界が現れる。
The works, created by layering four kinds of sumi ink on handmade washi paper through masking, allow the organic quality of paper and ink to coexist with the inorganic precision of masked lines—bringing together the unconscious and the conscious on a single surface.
Each of the four inks contributes its own distinct character and gradation of tone, enhancing the overall effect.
And within the surface of the work, a world quietly emerges.
